Saptari : Two people have lost thiers lives  and another  remains in critical condition following a road accident in Saptari district  toay.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when a motorcycle collided with the rear of a tractor.

According to police, the accident took place on the Postal Highway section at Malekpur in Rajgadh Rural Municipality–5.

The identities of the two deceased individuals have not yet been confirmed.

A tractor (registration number Sa 1 Ta 5442), loaded with bricks and heading towards Rajbiraj from Patthargada, collided with a motorcycle (registration number Pradesh 2–019 Pa 9626) coming from the opposite direction.

Three severely injured persons were rushed to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj, where one was declared dead upon arrival.

Another individual died while undergoing treatment.

Both the tractor and motorcycle have been taken under control by the police.

However, the tractor driver fled the scene and is currently being searched for.

Now police is investigating into the incident.
